Hi - Thanks for the happy visits! Like you I always used to simply glue on my buttons, but the more and more I saw them tied on, I liked the idea. Sometimes, it's not easy, especially if the button holes are small. I've found that the waxed twine, almost works best, but for larger buttons I use baker's twine and even embroidery thread, for all the fun colors!
