Special Delivery

Although I love my copics, especially when time is short, I find the process of watercolour painting using my DI inks very relaxing and therapeutic. The challenge at As You Like It Challenge this week is to tell us whether you prefer alcohol or DI inks, so this card is perfect to showcase my favourite!

I've kept the layout quite simple, with just a couple of coordinating papers, but I've added some flowers and a little trio of pearls.  The join of the papers is covered by some beaded velvet ribbon.

I'm not sure if you can see, but the papers are actually from Snow Princess and they do have tiny little snowflakes on them, but I didn't actually notice that until I'd made the card.  Hmmm, may have to save this card for a winter baby!  :0)

  1. OMG, so cute n gorgeous hun! Beautiful colourwork, naturally, and such a pretty card. I don't think anyone would notice the snowflakes unless they knew, they would think they are tiny flowers. Love this! Do you think this might be a challenge for me to play along with? Hmmmmmm, lemme think about that ............ Huggles Squirrel & Rosie xxx

  13. I was planning on using these papers for non-Christmas cards and hadn't noticed the teeny snowflakes! I will still use them though as I don't think anyone else would spot them either and they do look gorgeous on your card.
I love the shaped base and image panel and your gorgeous flower and ribbon details :-)

    Big hugs, Kat xx
