Sweetest Wishes

The new challenge this week at As You Like It Challenge is to choose either sweet or savoury, and there's no question as to what my favourite is.  To be honest it's primarily chocolate (untainted by fruit, nuts or other "unnecessaries") but then I'm rather partial to cake too (chocolate, coffee, lemon drizzle, even carrot cake, but again I'll pass on the fruit cake!).

There's also a new challenge over at Sugar Bowl, so I've chosen a really 'sweet' fairy image called 'let's eat cake'.  It's a really clean and simple layout, and I tempted fate by finishing my card completely before stamping the sentiment, but luck was on my side, and it gave a clean image.

    Annette, this is totally gorgeous. I have n't seen that image before and I love it! Your colouring is stunning and you really are a genius at backgrounds. Heart in the mouth time stamping the sentiment but it looks wonderful!
    I have spent all day making cakes for a Macmillan coffee morning tomorrow...fair to say I am a bit off cake today!! (Pass the unembellished chocolate though)!

    Totally stunning colouring and the sentiment is perfect...so glad you stamped it perfectly after all that hard work on the colouring and fab cloudy background!
    The matting and DP layers frame the image so beautifully too.
