LOTV - Watering Can

I'm back with my next GDT card for Lili of the Valley, with a card that managed to surprise me!

I looked at the image I'd chosen after stamping it out, and pondered what I was going to make with it.  I'm usually more of a bear or character fan, but this Watering Can image had more of a 'still life' feel to it which was a bit out of my comfort zone.

Undeterred, I chose to motivate myself by using my favourite colours, pink and aqua, matched with the gorgeous Promises Lili of the Valley papers in the same colours.

And when I'd finished, it actually turned out to be one of my favourites for a long time.

So much for being outside my comfort zone!

I hope you like it too. :0)

  1. I like it very much too!! I get what you mean about the stamp though, it was one of the first LOTV stamps that I bought and it doesn't get used nearly enough because I never quite know how to "place" it. You have done a great job and it looks so pretty with those fabby papers xx

  12. It's not the easiest stamp to use, despite being super cute, but you did an awesome job here. I guess the pretty DP and flowers help but the layout is really great too and your colouring is fab :-)

    Big hugs, Kat x
