Candy Dandy

After a couple of fussy cards, today's Tiddly Ink card is quite the opposite.  I cut the image panel using a tea plate for a cutting guide, and then layered it onto lilac paper and hand cut the border (with a very steady hand!)  I stitched the layers and popped them onto a plain square, with the only embellishments being a little trio of pearls.

I thought the candy stripes of the paper matched the candy theme of the image (well it did in my head!), and this little girlie is a real sweetie.  Literally!

    I've just read Christine's comment and can I just say 'ditto'?!
    I can't believe you cut that section of circle by hand, I figured it was a very large die!
    And you have really rocked the colouring with the gorgeous pleats and ground shading :-)
