Red Squirrels

Today's card is a prime example of why I don't do wet embossing.

It simply goes everywhere except where you actually want it.

I did wonder if I should have added some more, but quite frankly, I decided that I should quit before I totally ruined my image.

The image is a new one for me and I spent ages fiddling with the shading on those little squirrels.

Despite that, I was quite pleased with the end result, so kept the layout of the card quite clean and simple to highlight the image.

And then I had the bright idea of adding the frantage ......

I'll get my coat.

  2. Absolutely glorious hun, I love the shabby chic snow effect. As for those little squirrels and your tree - just magical. How did you get so much shading into such a small area? Dibbs, this one is mine! Hugs xx

  3. I reckon you used a magnifying glass to colour those squirrels Annette, they are so beautifully done. The frantage does look brilliant, but it is a bit of a bu**er and goes everywhere as you quite rightly say!! xx

  13. Like Kat said... leave your coat where it is!! Frantage isn't an exact science... at least if it is, I haven't mastered it yet!! LOL! It looks fabulous on this card.. you're just too close to see it! And wow to the colouring of your squirrels... perfect!

  15. Hehe, you made me laugh chick. I'm SO glad I'm not the only one out there who struggles to get the Frantage to stay where I want it. I only tried it once, and was so over it by the time I'd finished, I never tried again. Your card however, is fabulous. I love the CAS design and I think the frantage REALLY works! Hugs, Wends x
