This fortnight at As You Like It Challenge we want to know if you prefer pearls of gems on your projects. I am definitely more a fan of the subtle sheen of pearls than the glimmer of gems, and I have lots of flat backed pearls in different colours. For this project I've also added extra pearls in the form of a pin, peeking out amongst the flower embellishments.

Well it feels like the last few months have been a blur. I'm sharing the first card that I've made since August and I am feeling a little rusty to say the least! To get my mojo flowing I decided to use one of my favourite characters (James the bear) and some of my favourite papers from Nitwit Collections. I've loved their papers since LOTV created some printed versions, but sadly most of my pads are used and I'm reliant on the digital versions. Their papers are so beautiful and there are so many pretty papers (I must have hundreds of them) and they're my go-to papers when I need some creative motivation. I've even paper-pieced the heart in James' arms to match the background.

Lee Holland's little snowy critters are some of my favourite images for a Christmas card. This little mouse on his tree branch sniffing at the snow is adorable.

Today's creations are some festive Christmas cards made using my Silhouette. I've used one of my favourite NitWit Collections paper pads in 2 lilac patterns. I've adapted the cutting files a little to adapt them into side-fold shaped cards.

Today's card is featuring one of my favourite Christmas embellishments; glitter! I'm not a huge fan of using metallic card on my crafts, partly because it's so difficult to photograph, but I do love a sprinkling of glitter on my festive cards. I use glamour dust, which is really fine glitter, and glossy accents to stick it on.

Today's festive card is another where I've just used my Silhouette instead of watercolouring. It was fun to make especially because I really enjoy shaped cards.

It's time to catch up with some blogposts as I've been AWOL for a few weeks. Today's card is one of a small batch that I've made using my Silhouette for hubby's chums. It was quite fussy to cut and stick, but I made a set of half a dozen so had a mini production run going with my Silhouette at one point.

I'm a little late this week posting my card for As You Like It Challenge.
This week we want to know your favourite embellishment. I keep returning to this card layout time and time again because I love the soft ribbon tied in a double bow and pretty paper flowers framing my watercoloured image.
Hot on the heals of yesterday's post, this fortnight at As You Like It Challenge we want to see your favourite critters. Bob-tailed bunnies are one of my favourite cute and fluffy critters, but I also like cuddly teddy bears, so this image which features both is perfect for this theme!

I'm late with my post but last fortnight at As You Like It Challenge we wanted to know if you prefer ribbon or twine, and this is an easy choice for me as I have a huge box of ribbon rolls, in various colours, textures and widths. My favourite is a lovely 15mm satin ribbon tied in a double bow, which beautifully frames the festive image that I've watercoloured for today's card. I love the softness of the ribbon and the beautiful range of colours to accent my card.
