Singing in the snow

I've been sorting out all my paper scraps which were all over the place, and put them into a compartmentalised folder sorted by colour.  I found all sorts of papers that I just didn't realise I still had, and now that they're all organised, I decided to make some colour themed cards!

I just love this image so have been using it a lot recently. I think the mice are one of my favourite Penny Black animals.  I've used a pale blue theme (being one of my favourte colours), my favourite snowflake backing papers including a digi download snowflake image theme and some striped blue paper that found in my stash, but I didn't realise I still had, to create layers. I've also added some blue roses in two sizes and some blue liquid pearls.  I've used blue sparkle paper behind the image cut using a scalloped punch and coloured the image using my Promarkers and chalked around the outline to create a shaddow.  Of course, as it is Christmas, I've introduced some glitter too.  I've also coloured a silver peel-off in permanent blue markers to maintain the colour theme.

I've used inspiration from the following:
Happy crafting

What a gorgeous card Netty. I love all the shades of Blues you have used and the images are coloured beautifully.
Did you know your card would be perfect for the "It's beginning to look a lot like xmas" challenge at Penny Black at Allsorts this month? There are some gorgeous wooden stamps up for grabs too. http://pennyblackatallsorts.blogspot.com/

A beautiful card Netty. Really well coloured.

I love the soft delicate colours you have chosen.

I love the PB mice too - I think it is because the very first PB stamp I owned was a PB mouse .. .. that said though I do like "every" PB stamp!! LOL!!!

Great embellishments too.

Thank you for sharing with Penny Black at Allsorts again this month.

Love Jules xx (I am sorry it has taken me a while to get to you .. .. my internet has been out of action - but thankfully it is all sorted now).
