Anyway, you know what it's like when there's that niggling feeling, so I continued to mess around, and decided I'd paper piece the image to colours that I was happier with, and this is the next result.
I'm still not entirely sure that I'm happy, but I think the lack of pink is better. If any of you find my mojo lying around looking lost, can you send it back my way please?

Oh I know exactly what you mean - when something just 'niggles' away at you! ;)
Now when I was a kid, I often used to mix orange and pink until a teacher told me 'ginger-pink' was not allowed - lol.
This is such a cute card, and the candy colours are so pretty, it looks like a bag of mini eggs :) The paper-piecing version is fabulous, but your colouring is also so good on the other one that both versions are brill in my eyes - they are cute, pretty and perfect for easter.

I think the second card is way better than the first one. Sometimes you just have to make a card without pink (or red dots ;) )Love the colours on your card and the paperpieced eggs are so cute.
