Snowy Nativity Scene

Today's card uses a Wild Rose Studio image from The Stamp Basket called Nativity Play.  I've used a Whimsy Holiday Notables sentiment stamp and matching shaped Notables 1 Die. These are just amazing as they look fabulous in their fancy shapes.  I also am using the Memory Box Poppy Stamps Die Antique Lamp Post for the first time which I think is perfect for a traditional type of card.  I've given it a bit of highlight with a white gel pen.  The gorgeous Red Satin Ribbon really shows up the pretty pearl brad which holds it on the card base and I've sneaked in a red pearl onto the snowflake.  Just one pearl for me is amazing. Usually they're splattered all over my cards so this required real restraint on my part !!  Hope you like my card.

All items are from The Stamp Basket as follows:

Pop over to The Stamp Basket to see the lovely array of products on offer.

I've been inspired by:
  • Wild Orchid Challenge - Traditional Christmas
  • The Ribbon Girl - Add Sparkle (Stickles on snowflake & flowers & Startdust gel pen on star)
  • Sketch & Stash - Sketch 1 rotated 180 degrees (old stash = all flowers, snowflake die cuts, new stash = everything else)
Happy crafting.

Gorgeous card hun, really sweet! I've got that lamp post die, and I must admit I'm struggling to 'fit it in' on a card so far! Hope you're having a lovely day :o) Hugs, Lisa x
