Charming Rosie

The theme today at Top Tip Tuesday is Paper Piecing, and I've used a cute little Sugar Nellie image.  Paper piecing tends to work well when you have lots of area to fill, but this little character's dress was actually already quite fussy.  But I think she looks really cute in her floral dress.

I had to paper-piece her arms and the rose in her hands on top of the paper-pieced dress because they were so delicate to cut out from her dress.  It also looked like her dress was on top of her arms, which seemed wrong!  So there are actually 3 layers; the base image, the paper-pieced dress and then her arms again

The card is also quite a C&S design (well it is by my usual standards anyway!).  Hope you like her.
