I'm sharing Chloe from The Stamp Basket today.  I've also got a new die, Lavish Branch, and it's lovely. The leaves are really detailed and it makes a lovely spray of leaves underneath some flowers.  I can see I'm going to be using this one quite a bit!

Rebecca

Another pink day today and another Saturated Canary image, this time it's the beautiful Rebecca.  I've kept the layout quite simple as I've used a border punch to create some interest and didn't want too much fuss to detract from the image and pretty papers.  I've just added a couple of simple pearls, a charm from my stash and of course some gorgeous satin ribbon.

Copy Cat

The theme today at ABC Christmas Challenge is to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) one of our ABC Christmas cards from 2012.  I got a bit mixed up and thought I had to CASE one of my own, but actually you can CASE any ABC Christmas DT member's card from last year.  It's a great excuse to pick one that took your fancy and make it your own.

We're sponsored this week by Saturated Canary, and my Snow White image seemed to need a 'fairytale' sentiment, so I chose one of my LOTV cards from 2012 which had the sentiment 'believe'.  But this time I've reversed the colours of my character's dress and accessories.  Originally my LOTV girlie had a green dress and yellow accessories, and this time my Snow White girlie, had got a yellow dress and green accessories.

Although the papers and layout are the same, I've missed off the ivy die cut, and added some pearls, clouds and stitching.

String of Hearts

The theme today at Top Tip Tuesday is Valentines, and we're sponsored by Stampfairy.  I've been painting with my DIs again, and it's safe to say that I'm definitely getting lots of practice in colouring grey bears!  I've also been using my new Precious Heart dies which are lovely.  The papers are embossed and glittered so I didn't clutter the card up with lots of embellishments this time, just some pretty cream ribbon and some coffee coloured pearls.

Dragon Nap

I've got a 'Just For Fun' card to share today.   It's also been a while since I used purple, and since I love it so much, it was a perfect excuse to use it with this fantasy type image.

I've painted the image with my DI re-inkers.  I admit that it took me about 3 hours to paint him.  I'm not sure you can tell that it took so long from the finished image, but it was very relaxing.

Thank goodness it's Saturday.  I've not had a good week as I've had a couple of days off work sick and am only just starting to feel human again.  I've been alternating between overheating and shivery cold sweats along with a swollen sore throat and a thick head.  But I hope that it's on the way out now.  (famous last words!)

The theme today at Lili's Little Fairies is anything but a square card, so I've made a fancy shaped card using a craftwork cards base.  The colouring is with DI re-inkers.  I'm still persevering  and have got most of the colours that I think I need now after one arrived today.  However, I'm sure there will be 'just one more' that I find I need.  I've also just got some lovely heart dies and this is my first card using them.  I thought they matched the image well.

Hand Me Downs

I'm a guest designer over at Incy Wincy Challenges today and the theme is Pearls and Lace.  These are two of my favourite things (along with pink, ribbons, dies, pretty papers, bows, nesties, flowers, gems ... )

OK I admit I have a lot of favourite things

But it was impossible not to join in when the lovely Chris invited me.

Tinkerbell

I'm really loving these new Saturated Canary Rubber Stamps and this is the second time I've used this sweetie. Last time she was red, but this time I've coloured her in green, like Tinkerbell the fairy from Peter Pan.  I thought is was safer to use Copics for this image so that I could cope better with her hair.  I just can't seem to get hair right with the DI, and this girl needs to have good hair.

Memoirs of a Geisha (& another FREEBIE)

I really adore this new Saturated Canary stamp called Cherry Blossom from The Stamp Basket.

Last time I coloured her in purple, and this time I've used yellow and green.  Green isn't a colour which I'm usually keen on, but I love these yellow and green papers so I've coloured her to match them.

I've stitched all the panels onto kraft coloured shimmer card and chalked some clouds behind the image.

Boys & Bows

The theme today at ABC Christmas Challenge is B for Boys and/or Bows so I've made a little card with both!!!

The J-Fold card that I made last week reminded me how much I like these as C&S folds so I've made another one. I'm not as keen on this one though. I think it looks a bit empty.  There are some clear glass gems on the bottom left corner, but they're not really clear, and there are no flowers or die cuts.  It feels a bit unfinished to me, but the image was quite large, and the papers were quite busy, so I stopped!

I've used 2 images that are layered on top of each other to create a little Christmas scene.

Lavishly Luscious Layers

The theme at Top Tip Tuesday is Lavishly Luscious Layers.  I've used a cute little bear image and 4 layers of card including my image.  I've also slipped in a die cut swirl and fence for a couple of extra layers and it's all in bright springtime colours (in the hope Spring is nearly upon us!).

My image is painted with Distress Ink re-inkers (I still need to work on this painting lark!)
