A fairy card to cheer me up

I've just got back from the vets to get Arnie's annual cat flu injection, and the vet has told me that my 'little boy' is not actually 4 years old like we thought, but is probably more like 13 years old.  Plus, (as if shaving 9 years off his furry little life wasn't bad enough) he's got an overactive thyroid gland.  Apparently, if this is confirmed by the blood tests, this means that we need to put him on medication twice a day for the rest of his life.  My healthy 'baby boy' has turned into a poorly pensioner overnight.  I just feel that 9 years have been taken away from him, and that he's now going to be constantly poorly.  He's been getting lots of extra snuggles tonight and hasn't stopped purring since I brought him home, so at least one of us is oblivious and happy!

Anyway, to cheer me up, I've been using one of my fave new stamps which is Stamp Fairy's Patsy Tooth Fairy, although I cut off (most of) the tooth part as I just wanted a fairy.  She's so pretty and I coloured her in lilac which is one of my favourite colours (along with pink!) and used my fave nesties.  I've followed a sketch but added some extra little pearls and a sentiment. The sentiment is one of Christine's (sorry for the confusion on the earlier version of this post where I'd taken credit for it - I'd got totally confused with a Mother's day sentiment I've made for a very similar card which will be a freebie on Saturday! Oh dear, sorry Christine, and thanks for pointing it out!) and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Finally, I glittered up her wings and the cloud.
