Sketch & Spring at Stamp Fairy

Woo-hoo I'm so excited!  After completing my guest designer spot for March, I've now been invited to join in as a full time teamie on Stamp Fairy Challenge blog.  I'm really happy because Stamp Fairy images are just gorgeous and the DT members are such lovely and talented girls.  I'm looking forward to getting to know them better.

To celebrate, I've created this card which also uses some really pretty digi papers I've found from Summertime Designs that I just had to use as soon as I got them!   For this card I've used Patsy EasterEggs from Stamp Fairy; she's so pretty in her pink dress and cute bunny ears, and I've followed the sketch from this week's Stamp Fairy Challenge.

The cute little fence in the background is from MelJen.  I thought the papers were Spring-like too, so they go well together. I didn't want much else on the card as the paper is quite 'busy', so went for a white embossed (Swiss Dots) background for the image which itself is framed by a circle lacey nestie.  I've stamped the image twice and cut & layered the second image on sticky foam pads.  Not really sure it shows as 3D in the photo, but it is!!  Those tiny little pink gems were a real pain to stick on.  There is so little glue needed as they're so small, but then the middle one kept falling off.  I put a bit more glue on and then it squidged out the sides of the gem, but it dries clear so should be ok (fingers crossed!)

As you'll see, I've even got my own official StampFairy watermark that Gerda's given me, which is so cute.  Don't laugh, but I had to google some instructions on how to insert it, and then I didn't have any software that would put it onto my photo so had to download a tool (luckily a freebie)!  Anyway, I got there in the end (I think!)
