Tilda Flower Girl with Petals

A mix of old and new stash is in use today, and another card to share.  I've had the papers for ages (I think they were free with a magazine), but the card base is a new acquisition (winnings from a challenge - YAY!), the flowers were a recent indulgence from Wild Orchid Craft, and the pin is one that I made myself over the weekend.

I've got a little tip too, one that my TTT teamie Samantha shared earlier this week, but it is one that I use often and I think it is worthy of another mention.  When I'm using my nesties, I use the die to cut out the image panel, and then instead of running it back through with the embossing mats, I run my dry embossing tool around the inside of the image on the reverse side, to make the embossed mark around the edge of the panel.  Then, I use the die again to cut the outer panel (the coloured one that the white image panel sits on), lightly tape it to the card, and cut around the outside with a craft knife.  I find that the next size of nestie is too large, and creates too much frame around the image, plus on some of my images, I've already used the largest nestie and there is not a larger one to make the panel to matt the image onto.
