Papertake Blog Birthday

I've got some extra special exciting news to share with you today, because I got an email at the weekend to ask if I wanted to be a guest designer for Papertake Weekly - for a whole month !!!   I cannot tell you how excited I am, and also a little bit daunted that I will be showcasing next to the oh-so-talented DT girlies.  I'd better behave myself !! LOL

Plus it is Papertake's 4th birthday today, so I get to join in with the celebrations, which is even more special.

This week Papertake are being sponsored by LOTV, and so there are some fab prizes up for grabs if you join in this week's theme.  Plus, it is an "Anything Goes" challenge (with an option to use something punched), so there really is no excuse not to join in.

I'm also excited because it has given me an opportunity to play with some a LOTV image that I don't think I've used before.  I have so many of them, that I actually didn't realise that I had this one.  LOL.

I used a border punch on the blue backing paper, and mounted it onto a pink base card. But by the time I'd added my bow, charm, flowers and image, there was not much to see of the punched border.  So I added some punched butterflies too (just for luck) and "stickled" them !!!  However, I really don't like them on there now, and wish I'd left them off.  I guess they are only small, but with the glitter I added to them, they stand out more than I wanted.  Anyways, they're on for good now because the glue has dried!
