Heffalumps

This card looked very different in my head before I started.

I'm not sure what happened.

Or perhaps what didn't happen.

But this is how it turned out.

This is a wonderful card Annette, the splash of red looks fabulous and I love that cute couple. (Psst..thought you should know that you appear to have morphed into a sleepy ginger puss cat, just in case you've been getting funny looks at work!!) I noticed you had changed your profile pic the other day...what a cutie!! xx

Well I don't know what was going on in your head (who does m'love?) but this is such an adorably cute creation with those sweet Nellies. The embossing works so well and really pushes the image forward. It's cute, it's gorgeous, but sadly it's 7 years too late. Love it! Hugs xx

Ha, ha! I had to smile at your post and the mystery that exists between our creative vision and what we actually create sometimes! But even though this card didn't turn out how you imagined, I think it is wonderful! The bold colors are so energetic, yet it has so many delicate details, too. The elephants are too cute and they look lovely how you've framed them. You've also got some great Copic coloring skills! I really enjoyed seeing this card and I'm so glad you shared it with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
