Getting Inky with Top Tip Tuesday

There is a new challenge today at Top Tip Tuesday, and the theme to play along with this week is Get inky making your own papers or background.  There is a fab tutorial on the Top Tip Tuesday challenge blog to tempt you, although you don't have to be as messy we did, but that is half the fun!!!  You could play with stamping a background, or using distress inks or stains or alcohol inks anything really even paints....  Whatever you choose to do, don't forget to have a look at our DT inspiration first as they have some amazing ideas for you!

Here's my card. I used a snowflake punchie as a mask, inked around it in blue and added some shimmer chalks and Stickles.  I coloured some of the image using some my new Sakura Stardust pens for some added sparkle.  Overall I like the effect on the backing paper, but I'm not over keen on the finished card, I don't think I did a great job on this one.  I hope you pop on over to the challenge blog as there are some super samples on there from the other DT members.  I think my mojo was AWOL today.
