Christmas in August

I have a cute Christmas Bluebell image to share today.  I have cut a nestie shape into the middle of my backing paper before sticking the leftover 'frame' onto my card base.  I then matted the smaller cut-out shape onto deep red card and stuck it back directly over the uncovered area on the card base.

This technique only uses one piece of designer paper, but it creates a kind of frame that I quite like.

Simple and economical! :0)

Thanks for that brilliant tip Annette, it makes for a fab frame as you have so cleverly demonstrated!! LOVE your stamp too, I have "banned" myself from any more purchases as I had a rather large and costly delivery of horse fodder last month ( a year's worth!!) so I am using my recently acquired "still in the wrappers" stash instead of buying any more!! xx

Your clever frame design is fabulous - sooo effective, that's getting filed away in my brain... although that does mean it may never see the light of day again - lol!
Such a sweet image and I love that twine/charm combo :-)

Big hugs, Kat xx
