Bunny with Glasses

I'm in love with this cute little bunny so I've made him the centre of attention on my card. Don't you just want to scoop him up and snuggle him! :0)

Horace

We're looking for your favourite colour combo at As You Like It Challenge this fortnight and despite the regular appearance of purple, my ultimate favourite combo is pink and blue.  I love both colours but think pastel shades of this combo really complement each other. I have lots of papers in these colours and although most of my puppy image is fur, I have also managed to squeeze both of my chosen colours into my image.  I'm also using my favourite fur colour combo of Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy, Vintage Photo and a spot of Gathered Twigs for shade.

Pinata Squidgy

It's 'Hump Day' so I'm sharing a little fun in the form of Pinata Squidgy.  I've teamed her again with a sentiment die from my MFT Adorable Elephants.

I've used my MFT Stitched Basic Edges 2 to create some interest on the curved edge and added some twine to 'hang' my little pinata donkey from.

Just Samples

I'm not sharing a finished card today, but instead just some samples of colouring that I've completed over the last couple of weeks for another project using some images that I love too much not to share with you!

Since it's going to be a photo heavy post, I'll keep the nattering brief, other than to say, I hope you like purple!!!  ;0)

So, first of all, these are some of the aptly named Adorable Elephants from MFT:

Staying with MFT, this next guy is from their Magical Dragons set:

Holding the fantasy theme, these next few guys are from Gerda Steiner:

And finally, I'm downsizing from monster to mouse, with Lili of the Valley's Three Kind Mice and Lucky Mouse:

That's all folks!

A Little Gift

I've made a second card along the same theme as yesterday but this time using 'A Little Gift' from Lili of the Valley.  I can't get enough of this cute little pingu!

Cosy Penguin

I've got another sample from the new release due out soon from Lili of the Valley. This one's called Cosy Penguin and I love the adorable fluffy pingu!  I also love purple for Christmas cards, and although it's a non-traditional colour I think it works well.

Happy Reindeer

It's July, so I'm in Christmas mode (naturally!) with this sweet image from the soon-to-be-released set of festive images from Lili of the Valley.  This one's called Happy Reindeer and he's adorable.  I've teamed it with a new Marianne Design die although the lettering didn't quite go to plan! I had hoped to emboss it with glitter, but my first attempt at applying embossing ink only to the letters didn't work because the ink seeped under the die and covered the whole of the red card. I therefore resorted to inking in the letters to the embossed die-cut with a white gel pen using the metal die like a stencil!

Xmas Tags

Today's creations feature Skating Chicks from Stamping Bella, but they're in disguise! The first trio are in their penguin costumes and the second trio are dressed as robins.

Mermazing

I feel like I'm late to the party with today's card because I've seen this gorgeous mermazing set from MFT all over blogland for weeks now, but only just got around to ordering my set from Dies to Die For.  She's helping to promote the new 'fantasy' challenge starting today at In The Pink Challenge.

Birthday Daisy

I'm sharing a sweet little birthday card today which was made for a very special friend. I used the sweet Daisy Squidgy from Stamping Bella and paired it with a birthday sentiment from MFT's Adorable Elephants, both available from Dies to Die For.

Life's a Beach

I'm in summer mode today with Tilda eating her ice cream!  Yellow isn't my favourite colour so I feel like I've struggled a bit with this one.

Strawberries

As it's the last day of Wimbledon I've got a strawberry themed card!  It features a little meecie from Gerda Steiner nibbling on his fruit and some strawberry papers from Maja Design.

Lazy Daisy

I've made this cute card for a young lady who likes ponies using Lazy Daisy.  It's also perfect for today's challenge at As You Like It Challenge where we're asking if you prefer gems or pearls.

I think it's fairly clear if you look at my previous creations that I opt for pearls on most of my cards and rarely use gems. I love the smooth texture of the pearls and have them in every colour of the rainbow to match whatever card I'm making.

I hope the recipient likes it; it was requested by her grandmother who'd seen another one I'd made recently so I kept the design similar but used different papers and sentiment.

Just For You

I've been playing again with the gorgeous Sweet Pea from Stamping Bella.  I've accented the image with pencils to give the petals some texture.  The little tag die is new too, tied on with some embroidery thread.

Heffalumps

I've been drooling over these aptly named Adorable Elephants for a while and eventually they've come back into stock so I've nobbled them quickly and it wasn't too long before I've managed to ink them up.  I've used 4 of the cuties from the set and also a sentiment, but considering all those images, the design is still really CAS.

My little heffalumps are purple (because everyone knows that heffalumps can be purple) and I've created a little scene for them playing in the sun.  I hope you like them.
