I spotted a lovely Teddy Bo card on Lesley's blog a while ago (eeek, just noticed that it was over a year ago), and bookmarked it for later inspiration, and today was that day! I've added one more element being the heart behind the tag, which complements the heart in the image.
It's not my usual style, but I'm really pleased with it. I typed the sentiment and printed it in pink, but inked over the letters with a pink Sakura stardust gel pen to give it some extra sparkle.
Using the heart die did make me think of something amusing that I read the other day :
"Marriage is like a deck of cards.
In the beginning all you need is two hearts and a diamond.
By the end, you wish you had a club and a spade." ;0)
That probably wouldn't be an ideal sentiment to pop on an anniversary card though, huh? I think that I'm better off sticking to a boring 'happy anniversary' to be on the safe side!
