I've really enjoyed these cute farmyard images that Lili of the Valley released a few months ago and today I'm sharing another using the cute cow. It's a more fussy card compared to others I've made recently, and I've decorated him with flowers and organza ribbon in shades of blue and gold.

Birthday Bee

I've created this bee themed birthday card using lots and lots of hexagons and a sprinkling of shimmer!

The sparkly gold card has a lovely shimmer and the dark brown overlaid hexagons are the perfect contrast.

I've cut the cardbase with the fold on the top left edge which I've found makes the card stand up much better than a top edge tent fold.

Teddy Christmas

Honey Bee Box

I've been playing with some of the new papers over at Amanda Jayne Designs.  

As soon as I saw this adorable honey bee design I knew that I wanted to make a honey themed box!  

I've cut the Hexagon box shape using my Silhouette in a beautifully rich Woodstock Gaillo card from Papermill Direct.  I've added some die cut some hexagons in the same card to create some texture.

Amanda Jayne's bee themed papers matched perfectly and I inked the edges before adding the panels to the lid.

Reindeer Cookin'

It's pretty obvious from most of my creations that I prefer making feminie rather than masculine cards. I love all the flowers and pretty embellisments that make cards a bit more feminine, and I'd say that pinks and purples are my go-to colours.  Although today's card isn't too frilly, it is still feminine with the pretty pink floral papers.  I hope you pop over to As You Like It Challenge to show us which style you prefer.

Cheeky Monkey

I've been making quite a few tags recently to plump up my stash for gift wrapping. This one features Birthday Milo the Monkey sitting on his birthday present. I've printed the image in grey and watercoloured him before die cutting the image with a Gummiapan Large Old Tag.

The Biggest Cake

There's a new release due out on 21st June at Lili of the Valley, and I've been lucky enough to play with some of the new images.  This one's called 'The Biggest Cake' and as soon as I saw it those cute little fuzzy bunnies were calling to me!  

I've bought a few 6"x6" dies recently and this Paper Boutique Daisy Frame is one that I've been drooling over for a while.  I've teamed it with a simple die cut sentiment and everything is layered in some gorgeous shimmery Fuchsia Pink Pearlescent alternated with Baby Pink Plain Card.

Koala Hugs

Yay, the weekend is finally here and I'm sharing a tag full of hugs featuring the adorable Kali Koala from Amanda Jayne Designs.

I've used my Gummiapan Large Old Tag die, and offset two layers cut from different papers from the same pad.  

The sentiment is a Simon Says Stamp die, for which I've created a outline using my Silhouette.

Blossom Tag

We're looking at hair colour today at As You Like It Challenge, and want to know if you prefer colouring blonds or brunettes.  As a brunette myself (ignoring the invading greys!) my go-to colours are automatically the browns. My default colours are Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy, Vintage Photo, Gathered Twigs and I actually find blonds quite difficult to colour as they seem to end up getting darker as I add more layers!
