'Tis the Season to be Jolly

I used this image for a card last week and it reminded me how much I love these stuffies. I've used them again today for a more simple card, and sneaked in a sentiment from another Stamping Bella set.

Christmas Trio

It may be more wet than white outside at the moment, but at As You Like It Challenge this week we're asking your favourite way to add snow to your projects.  I love adding glossy accents as my 'ground' before sprinkling on some sparkly Glamour Dust. I also like to add some speckles of snowflakes fluttering around my critters using a white Vivo Pearl Pen. I like the contrast of the glitter and pearls.

Reindeer Duo

I've coloured a couple of Bella Bundle Girl with Reindeer, attempting a lighter touch and more subtle shading.  I really like the final result, but it was much harder than I thought it was going to be to be less heavy-handed with the inks!

A beary sweet card swap

I joined in with the card swap at LOTV and this was the card I made.  My favourite Lili images are bunnies so of course it had to be a bunny image.  I've made a matching stand for him to perch on. The sentiment is typed and I've added some festive coloured flowers.

Harry has Happy Mail

One of my favourite bears, Harry the Stuffie, is playing on my blog today with this sweet little 'Happy Mail' card.  I managed to mess up a stamped sentiment on the top panel so had to cover it over with a die cut flower!  Shhh, no-one will ever know!

Lilac Heffalump and Pingu

At As You Like It Challenge this week we want to know if you prefer cute or traditional Christmas themes. For me this was an easy question to answer because I prefer cute for any time of the year!  Christmas is a time for snuggling up with friends and family so this image of heffalump with his little pingu pal is right up my street!

I love the sentiment of this card, and I've teamed it up with an image which seems to complement it.  The kitty resembles my furbaby, 'JB', both in colour and naughtiness!
