Triple Hexagons

Here we are at Friday again, and even better, it's that start of another long weekend!  Let's hope the sunshine lasts into the Bank Holiday.  Hubby has plans to paint the outside of the house, but if that's dependant on the weather, then maybe the odd spot of rain would be ok if that means I can be excused from holding onto the ladder or weilding a paint roller, and sneak back into my craft room instead.  The one thing I always seem to get lumbered with is cleaning the brushes afterwards - that's the worst part!

So in readiness for the weekend, I'm here with some bright Springtime cards in the shape of a trio of hexagons.  They're all featuring a cute critter from Amanda Jayne Designs on Etsy, and I've used some lovely aqua blue and navy card from Papermill Direct which I've die cut and embossed for added interest.

Water-coloured on Langton Watercolour paper with Ranger Distress Ink Reinkers:

  • Fur: Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy, Vintage Photo, Gathered Twigs, Tattered Rose, Tea Dye
  • Grass: Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Rustic Wilderness, Peeled Paint, Forest Moss
  • Sky: Tumbled Glass
  • Yellows: Scattered Straw, Wild Honey, Rusty Hinge
  • Pinks: Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry
